Who we are

We’re a movement of leaders, activists, artists, educators, and changemakers pursuing collective liberation in communities around the world.

We’re driven by the belief that all of our safety, freedom, joy, and futures are intertwined, and we’re committed to working toward co-creating a better and more beautiful world for everyone.

Through the AllFree community, we hope to educate, connect, and inspire lasting positive change.

Our Founders

Deema Tamimi is a nonprofit and startup founder, community organizer, and advocate for social justice, communal food systems, mutual aid and the arts. With a tech career behind her, Deema brings her marketing and product development skills as well as creativity, empathy, and leadership to all her current engagements including local advocacy and organizing in her Davis, California community. She serves on the Davis Human Relations Commission and is deeply committed to social justice and collective liberation. She believes art, joy, food, and storytelling are powerful tools for fostering change and building a more just world.

Hannah Claire Smith is a writer, educator, and content creator, known for her incisive exploration of systemic violence and oppression and advocacy for Palestine. Drawing from her extensive experiences in conflict and post-conflict areas—including the D.R. Congo, Lebanon, Colombia, Northern Ireland, and beyond—Hannah’s work sheds light on the root causes of harm and explores the essential tools needed to address them and pursue our mutual liberation.
